Nature can truly nurture your creative spirit and clean out the debris in the mind. I went for my first hike Saturday after many many years away from it. Did you know you can use music to train your muse?
Find music that speaks to you and the mood of your story.
Every time you sit down to write turn it on.
Make sure you don't leave without writing at least one page.
Eventually you will associate 'writing' with the 'music' and can turn it on anytime to trigger the writing response :)

Taking breaks to recharge and feed your muse is essential. You can run on empty and expect to perform well, to call the muse quickly and easily. But so often we try to squeeze our creative pursuits into some very small moments of time available, almost forcing it on demand. If we find ourselves dilly dallying we get upset but instead of getting upset just go with it... give yourself some down time
